If you are considering staying here, trust me and book now! This place is a gem and one of my personal best finds. It is in a great location walking distance from most things. The place was clean and had everything you needed. AC worked great. Pool was fantastic with a beautiful garden.
Walking into this Airbnb from the street daily felt like we were entering a magical oasis. The owners, Beth and David, are artists and have built and make this place into something really special. It has such a great energy that is worth experiencing in itself minus exploring what Merida has to offer. There are little touches that make it unique like hand made ceramics, fruit trees in the garden, an art gallery in the front walkway, plus some friendly property doggies. The owners were an absolute delight and made us feel right at home. Thank you again for sharing your space with us.

We had a fantastic 3 nights in this stunning apartment. Such a treat to have access to such a beautiful, lush garden and to go for a refreshing dip in the gorgeous pool. Amidst the heat and bustle of Merida, this place feels like a secret piece of paradise, and staying here made us just want to relax and enjoy the space!
The hosts are truly delightful – this isn’t an impersonal rental where you’ll let yourself in via a key in a lockbox, Beth and David will welcome you to share the space they’ve created, and will take a genuine interest in you as a guest. They evidently thrive on meeting people from around the world, and it makes for a really special experience. We’d highly recommend a stay here – you’re surrounded by the creativity of two dynamic and outward looking people, and right on the doorstep for everything that Merida has to offer.

This has got to be one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we have ever stayed. We couldn’t believe that we’re so close to the centre of Merida. The design and architecture is so unique, you can feel you are staying in a very creative environment. Beth and David are incredibly friendly and fascinating to talk to and were open to showing us their ceramic and woodwork studios. Their talent can be seen all around!
Their dogs are so lovely and a great friend to our own. The bed is so comfortable, I had my best nights sleep for months. I was also incredibly productive at work overlooking the garden with the sound of the birds. It’s a true oasis in the heart of a city and would recommend everyone to stay here. It’s where we would stay every time we visit Merida.

We had a delightful stay at David and Beth’s. They are such welcoming people, we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Their place is impressive. Both of them have worked on the architecture and design of the place, we appreciated all the personal touches and how unique the place was.
The pool is amazing, the hosts are great and the place is located on quiet part of Mérida and within walking distance to the main square. My partner and would recommend staying with them to anyone hands down.
